Each of us — child, youth and adults — is called to the lifelong journey of growing in spirituality and discipleship, and Mount Nittany Church has many ways to help you wherever you are on this path. 

Membership classes
Membership classes for those interested in joining Mount Nittany Church or just finding out more are held on request being given to Pastor Mike. The sessions are participant driven and cover personal beliefs, what we believe as members of the United Methodist Church, and how Mount Nittany Church operates and shares Christ's love, as well as what is available to you and your family.

Adult Sunday School
Join Rik Harris each Sunday morning at 8:30 for in-depth Bible study, singing, devotion and prayer.

Upper Room Devotionals
Pick up a copy of the Upper Room Daily Devotionals each month at the church, and hear words of encouragement that will help grow your faith.

Children & Youth Ministries & Activities
Mount Nittany Church has multiple Christian Education opportunities for Children (preschool to grade school) and Youth (middle to high school) to learn more about Jesus Christ, the Church and how we’re called to spiritual growth. Sunday mornings at 9:30.

Confirmation Classes

If your baptized middle- or high-school youth is ready to take the next step in her or his discipleship by affirming their faith and membership at Mount Nittany Church, we offer yearly confirmation classes designed to meet kids right where they are in their faith. Hybrid classes begin in fthe fall and run through early spring. Classes are currently in session and will be offered again if needed in the fall of 2024.
